Adam & Jenna’s Modern-Industrial Celebration at The Loft at 132

Fur stoles. Fedoras. A Hawaiian flower lei at the altar. Adam and Jenna showed up to their fall wedding in Sun Prairie with the kind of personality you can’t fake, and as their Loft 132 wedding photographer, we were all in from the first frame. This wasn’t a couple following a template. Every choice they made had intention behind it, and the energy in that room never once dipped.

Getting Ready Inside the Industrial Glow

The Loft at 132 is one of those venues where even the getting-ready hours look cinematic. Jenna’s gown hung from exposed steel trusses, and those oversized windows flooded the space with soft, diffused light that wrapped everything in warmth. We barely had to think about positioning. The room just gave it to us. A gray suit jacket against corrugated metal. White pointed-toe flats with gold floral accents tucked into greenery. Invitation cards fanned across leaves. The details alone told us exactly what kind of day this was going to be.

Then came the moment Jenna’s mom helped her into her dress, right there in the ceremony space. Both of them had it written all over their faces. That quiet beat before the day truly starts, surrounded by white chiavari chairs and string lights overhead, is something we always try to protect. We pulled in close for this one. No wide establishing shots. Just the two of them and the emotion between them.

A Ceremony Full of Character

Adam stood at the altar in a gray suit, white fedora, and a traditional Hawaiian lei draped over his shoulders. His groomsmen matched the energy with their own brown fedoras and dark suits. Honestly, this is the kind of wedding party that makes a photographer grin behind the camera. Then Jenna came down the aisle on her father’s arm, and the whole room shifted. String lights glowed above. Brick walls anchored the backdrop. The smiles during their vows were enormous.

Their flower girl set the tone early, walking in clutching a Baby Yoda stuffed animal that had the entire crowd in stitches. That playful, loose energy carried right through the vows and into a first kiss that had guests cheering under Edison bulbs. Nothing about it felt rehearsed. It was warm, personal, and completely them. If you’re looking for a Sun Prairie venue that lets you be exactly who you are, this is the one.

Portraits with Vine-Covered Walls and Late Autumn Light

After the ceremony, we stepped outside and downtown Sun Prairie delivered. The buildings around the venue gave us incredible textures: one wall was covered in dormant vines with pops of red autumn leaves still hanging on. The overcast sky acted like a giant softbox, and we shot wide to let the architecture do its thing. No fighting harsh shadows, no chasing pockets of shade. Just beautiful, even light from every angle.

Jenna’s fur stole and flowing sleeves caught the breeze as she twirled. Adam’s lei draped over his gray vest. Together they looked like they’d walked straight out of a vintage film. One of our favorite frames from the entire day is a bird’s-eye shot where both of them are grinning up at the camera, completely relaxed. These two were so easy to work with, and honestly, that is when we do our best work. No stiff posing. Just real connection in great light.

A Reception Worth Celebrating

Back inside, the reception space had been transformed. White chiavari chairs surrounded round tables dressed in white linens and deep green napkins. A greenery runner with white flowers and a geometric gold fox sculpture anchored the head table. String lights and hanging floral installations gave those high ceilings a warm, intimate feel. A memorial display honored loved ones who couldn’t be there, and we made sure to document it with the care it deserved.

The first dance was pure joy. Adam kicked things off with a playful shimmy before pulling Jenna close for a dramatic dip. Their guests packed the edges of the floor, and the laughter never stopped. That shift from heartfelt ceremony to full-on party energy is something we live for. Being a Loft 132 wedding photographer on nights like this reminds us exactly why we chose this work. The venue, the people, the light, and the chaos of a packed dance floor all came together in the best possible way.

Frequently Asked Questions about Loft 132 Weddings

What makes The Loft at 132 a great venue for wedding photos?

The Loft at 132 offers a clean, modern aesthetic with exposed brick, steel trusses, and oversized windows that fill the space with natural light. The neutral palette lets your personal style and color choices stand out. Its downtown Sun Prairie location also provides interesting urban backdrops just steps from the door.

How do you photograph a wedding in a modern, industrial-style venue?

Our approach is to lean into the venue’s character. The architectural lines and textures become natural frames for our compositions. From there, we balance the scale of the industrial space with the intimate, emotional moments happening inside it. The contrast creates a gallery that feels both grand and personal.
