Twig and Olive Photography LLC, doing business as Twig & Olive Photography, operates from Madison, Wisconsin. These terms cover website use and explain where to find your booking or purchase terms.
Bookings and purchases
Before ordering, read the relevant service or product description for inclusions, compatibility, availability and delivery information. Contact us if anything is unclear.
Your signed service agreement and product or workshop terms govern that booking or purchase. General website terms do not replace those rights. See our Return & Refund Policy for the different product categories.
Provide accurate contact and payment information. Prices for future purchases may change. Check the service's booking instructions to understand when a particular date is confirmed.
The terms you accept for a particular booking or purchase apply to that transaction. Updating this page does not by itself change an agreement already made with you.
For purchases made on or after September 29, 2026, the digital-product refund provisions in our Return & Refund Policy take priority over an older product document that says payment alone makes a purchase final. This does not reduce a right you already have.
For promotional discounts, gift certificates and store credit, read the gift certificate and credit terms.
Coupons, gift certificates and store credit
Promotional coupons
Use a promotional coupon according to its offer details, including eligible products and its expiration date. Unless the offer says otherwise, a promotional coupon is for one use, cannot be applied to an earlier purchase or session retainer, and cannot be combined with another promotional coupon or discount on the same order.
Some offers exclude particular workshops, mentoring or other products. Check the offer before ordering. A promotional discount is not a purchased gift balance and has no cash redemption value.
Purchased gift certificates
Purchased gift certificates do not expire and can be used for any Twig & Olive product or service. Any unused balance remains available for a later purchase. You may transfer a gift certificate to someone else. A gift certificate is payment toward your purchase, so it can be used with an eligible promotional discount. Restrictions on combining promotional discounts do not prevent you from applying purchased gift value. The promotional-coupon rules above do not turn purchased gift value into a single-use discount.
Contact us if you need help checking a balance or using a gift certificate for a service. Where the law requires cash back for a remaining gift balance, we provide it. Having a gift certificate does not by itself reserve a session date. Confirm the service’s availability and booking requirements before relying on a particular date.
Credit from an order or customer service adjustment
Credit issued as a refund or customer-service adjustment does not expire, and any unused balance remains available. A promotional credit may have an expiration date stated when it is offered. Existing credit with more favorable terms keeps those terms. Contact us if you need help redeeming an existing balance.
Terms for a promotional discount or customer-service adjustment do not shorten the no-expiration promise for a purchased gift certificate. We will not substitute promotional credit for a refund or other remedy that the law requires.

Who can book or buy
Bookings and purchases must be made by someone who is at least 18 and has reached the age of majority where they live. A parent or legal guardian must arrange and sign for a session involving a minor. Teens may contact us with questions about a session.
Images, articles and purchased licenses
Our website contains photographs, writing, designs and other material that we own or use with permission. You may view that material for personal use. Do not copy, redistribute or commercially reproduce it without permission, except where the law allows it.
The website's personal-use terms do not override usage rights supplied with a purchase or signed agreement. Unless a product comes with its own license terms, buying a preset, action, template or course gives you a personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use it in your own photography work, including paid client work. You may adapt templates for your own business. You may not resell, share, sublicense or redistribute the files, modified or not, or offer them to others as a product. Course materials are for your own learning. A license supplied with a purchase, or usage rights in a signed agreement for business photographs, governs where it differs. Ask us if you are unsure what a permitted use includes.
Accounts and responsible use
Keep your account password private and details current. Do not access accounts without permission, bypass security, misuse content or harass others. Report suspected unauthorized account access to us.
Reviews should reflect your experience; honest criticism is welcome. Submit only material you have the right to share. Report suspected infringement with the material's location and your contact information.
Privacy and outside links
Our Privacy Policy explains personal information handling. Our Cookie Policy explains optional tracking and the Cookie settings control. Browsing the website does not itself give consent to optional tracking.
Other websites have their own terms and privacy practices. Check those when following an outside link.
Resolving concerns
If something has gone wrong, email [email protected] with your order or booking information and a description of the problem. If our first reply does not resolve it, reply and ask for an owner review. Doug or Courtney Weittenhiller will review the concern personally. Contacting us is an invitation to resolve the issue, not a requirement that prevents you from using other remedies available to you.
These website terms do not require binding arbitration. For disputes governed by these terms, either you or Twig & Olive may bring a claim in a court with the authority to hear it, including small claims court when the claim qualifies. We may also agree together to use mediation. Mediation is voluntary, and its arrangements and costs must be agreed before it begins.
This section does not change a separate agreement already made for a particular booking or purchase. Nothing here prevents you from contacting the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection or another consumer protection agency or using rights and remedies that applicable law provides.
Website availability and your rights
We maintain this website, but access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance or technical problems. If an interruption prevents you from accessing something you purchased, contact us so we can help. An interruption does not cancel our obligations for a paid order or booking.
The description and terms supplied with your booking or purchase explain what we provide. These general website terms do not add a monetary limit on our liability or exclude categories of damages. Responsibility and remedies remain subject to applicable law and any enforceable agreement for that booking or purchase. Nothing on this page removes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these website terms. The date above identifies the current version. Changes apply to website use after publication and do not by themselves change a booking or purchase you already made.
Governing law
Wisconsin law governs these website terms, subject to consumer protections that applicable law requires. This provision does not require you to give up protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
