TWIG & OLIVE SHOP

Lightroom and Camera Raw Presets

Each Twig & Olive collection gives your photographs a different look, from soft and warm to bold and full of color. A preset is a starting point: apply it, then set exposure and white balance for the photograph in front of you. We developed these looks in the studio, and we’re glad to share them.

Color collections

Spring Gem, Harvest Matte, Botanical Matte, Wanderlust, Lux Film, Sleepy Matte and the rest of our collections each have their own color and finish. Software requirements and included files differ from one collection to the next, so check the details on the product, and contact us before you buy if you’re unsure.

Adaptive presets and brush tools

These are a separate choice from the color collections. Adaptive presets and brushes work on parts of a photograph, so look at them when you want more control over specific areas of an image. Check the software details on the product before you buy.

A few helpful answers

How do I choose a collection?

Think about the light you usually shoot in and the look you want to end up with. Lux Film, for example, was developed for cloudy days, rainy days and sessions after sunset, while Sleepy Matte softens and warms photographs of newborns through toddlers. Each product page describes its look and the conditions it suits.

Can I use these on my phone?

It depends on the collection, because mobile support varies by product. Check the software and file details on the product you’re considering, and contact us before you buy if you’re unsure whether it will work on your phone.

Will the preset finish my edit?

A preset applies the look, and you finish the photograph. Exposure and white balance depend on the image, so adjust your basic settings until it’s where you want it. That’s how we use them ourselves, and they do their best work on evenly lit photographs.
