Arianna & Ryan’s Vintage-Inspired Oak Hill Farm Fall Wedding

Late September light has a way of turning everything warm and golden. Arianna and Ryan’s Oak Hill Farm fall wedding caught every last drop of it. From a copper leaf lapel pin to a vintage convertible parked on a gravel lane, this day had personality baked into every detail. These two were completely relaxed, and honestly, that is when we do our best work.

Details Worth Lingering On

Arianna got ready in a wood-paneled room filled with antique furniture and old clocks. The kind of space that feels like stepping into someone’s grandmother’s house, in the best possible way. Her pearl-studded heels and a delicate gold hairpiece sat on lace beside the invitation suite. We spent a few quiet minutes with those details before the energy picked up. Meanwhile, Ryan had a copper oak leaf pin, patterned sneakers, and a groomsman helping him adjust his bow tie. If you’re looking for a venue where getting-ready details practically style themselves, Oak Hill delivers.

One of our favorite moments came before the ceremony even started. Arianna’s mom helped her into her dress, and there was this quiet beat where they just held each other. No one said a word. Then Arianna pulled back, grinning. We got both the tears and the smile in the same frame. That’s the kind of moment we chase all day long.

Stone Steps, Sunlight, and a Vintage Getaway Car

Arianna and Ryan chose to do a first look on the stone steps near the wooded part of the property. The sun was filtering through the trees, landing right on them. She read a letter with her back to his, and honestly, the light was doing all the heavy lifting for us. All we had to do was stay quiet and shoot.

The ceremony sat under the pines with string lights draped overhead and a chandelier hanging from the branches. It had this intimate, almost enchanted feel. After the vows, the entire wedding party piled onto a vintage Ford convertible for portraits. The energy shifted instantly from tender to wild. Groomsmen cracking jokes. Bridesmaids hugging Arianna. Ryan just standing there grinning. That shift from polished ceremony to unfiltered joy is something we live for.

Golden Hour in the Fields

After the bridal party portraits wrapped, we stole Arianna and Ryan for golden hour. The fields behind Oak Hill Farm were tall with late-season wildflowers. The sun was dropping low enough to backlight everything in that deep amber tone. We shot wide to let the landscape breathe, then pulled in close for the quiet stuff. Foreheads touching, hands intertwined, a laugh that came out of nowhere. At one point a miniature horse wandered up by the fence, and Ryan dropped to his knees to say hello. That photo is one of our favorites from the entire gallery.

If you’re considering an autumn wedding at Oak Hill Farm, know that the golden hour portraits here are extraordinary. Rolling hills, open pastures, and warm fall tones create the kind of backdrop you can’t plan for. You just have to trust the light and be willing to walk through a field in a wedding dress. Arianna didn’t hesitate for a second.

A Barn Reception with All the Right Details

The reception space at Oak Hill is a white barn with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and string lights everywhere. Arianna and Ryan leaned into it with copper charger plates, eucalyptus runners, a neon “Foreva Eva” sign behind the head table, and a wooden deer-shaped guest book. Every table had its own personality, but the whole room felt cohesive. Walking into a room like that is a gift because the details are already telling the story.

The first dance happened under those string lights. We pulled in tight to catch the way Ryan’s hand rested on her back, the way Arianna closed her eyes and leaned in. Then the father-daughter dance hit, and the room went quiet. Those are the frames that end up on mantels. This is the kind of fall wedding at Oak Hill Farm that reminds us why we love this work.
