Blush and Terracotta Hues: A Stunning Lageret Wedding in Stoughton

Blush fading into terracotta, bridesmaids in mismatched tones that somehow all felt like the same color family, bouquets packed with texture. Paul and Madison’s Lageret wedding in Stoughton had a palette that made us want to photograph every single surface. The colors weren’t just pretty on their own. They came alive inside that industrial brick space, and our cameras ate it up from the very first frame.

The Details That Set the Tone

The getting-ready spaces at The Lageret are part of what makes this venue so good for photographers. Upstairs, Madison’s crew gathered in a bright room with white brick walls and hardwood floors. Their dresses hung on an industrial pipe rack, arranged in a gradient from ivory through blush to deep terracotta. It looked intentional without feeling staged, which is our favorite combination.

Downstairs, the energy was completely different. Paul and his groomsmen were shooting pool in the basement, laughing through bow-tie adjustments. His mom stepped in to pin on the boutonniere, and that quiet moment against the raw wood beams gave us one of our favorite frames. If you’re considering this venue, know that the contrast between those two prep spaces is a gift. It gives the gallery range before the ceremony even starts.

A Ceremony Framed by Brick and Blooms

We have a thing for The Lageret. The main ceremony hall, with its towering exposed brick and heavy timber beams, creates warmth that doesn’t need a single decoration. But add a circular floral arch loaded with greenery, blush roses, and pops of terracotta? It becomes something else entirely. Flora by Jamae built that arch to frame the couple perfectly. We shot wide to showcase the room’s scale, then pulled in tight for the vows.

Madison came down the aisle grinning. Paul was trying to hold it together, and honestly, those seconds right before the first words are always where we find the most emotion. Light pouring through those tall side windows gave us soft, directional warmth that wrapped around both of them. After the kiss, Madison threw her arm up in celebration and the whole room erupted. That kind of unscripted joy is something we live for.

Golden Hour Against Ivy-Covered Walls

After the ceremony, we headed outside to the courtyard behind The Lageret. Old limestone walls covered in ivy and wildflowers, late afternoon sun filtering through the trees at exactly the right angle. This is the kind of light that makes a Lageret wedding in Stoughton feel effortless. Golden, warm, and forgiving from every direction.

The wedding party brought so much energy to the group shots. Bridesmaids in their blush and terracotta dresses, groomsmen piling on top of each other, everyone genuinely cracking up. From there, we pulled Paul and Madison away for quieter portraits. They were completely relaxed, and honestly, that is when we do our best work. Forehead touches, real laughter, her hand on his chest. None of it was posed. All of it was them.

String Lights, Signature Cocktails, and a Dance Floor to Remember

The reception space is already stunning on its own, but Paul and Madison’s team transformed it. String lights stretched across the timber ceiling. Long farm tables sat beneath garlands of greenery. A hand-lettered bar sign listed a Wisconsin Old Fashioned and a Blackberry Paloma, which told us everything about this couple’s taste. Even the cake felt perfectly in line with the rest of the design.

Their first dance was pure magic. Purple uplighting washed the white brick walls, and the room felt intimate despite the vaulted ceilings. Paul dipped Madison into a kiss. Later, he lifted her completely off the ground, and the crowd lost it. That shift from polished ceremony to late-night party energy is something we live for, and this gallery captures both ends beautifully. If you’re exploring a spring wedding at The Lageret, this day shows you what’s possible here.
