This moody sunset maternity session in a cattail field just outside Madison gave us something rare: light so perfect we barely had to direct a thing. When the sun dropped behind spring clouds and threw amber through the grass, her black dress became pure contrast. One frame stopped us cold in editing, a silhouette with flare burning right through the cattails behind her.
