Wrapped in Warmth | Studio Newborn Portrait Session
This tiny girl had other plans for us. She arrived, fell asleep almost immediately, and stayed that way through the entire session at our studio in the historic Garver Feed Mill. Soft wraps, curled fingers, eyelashes we could finally capture up close, sometimes the best portraits happen when everything just clicks.
Adventures Together | Mom and Me Session
Four sisters in white dresses, one baby in a bear onesie, and golden light filtering through the palms at St. Andrews State Park. This mom and me session showed us what happens when you skip the shot list and just let a family be together. The best frame? The baby looking straight up between two sisters, pure joy with zero posing.
Vintage Glam Memorial Union Wedding | Madison, WI
Kathryn & Matt brought vintage glam to Madison's iconic Memorial Union, complete with a handwritten sonnet, a birdcage veil that caught the breeze perfectly, and custom bobblehead cake toppers. Every detail whispered who they are. The dramatic lakeside ceremony, the painted arches, and Tripp Commons' dark wood elegance gave us a day we won't forget.
Outdoor Summer Boho Wedding at Korth Park | Lake Mills, WI
Dried florals, macramé bouquets, and pampas grass catching the breeze off Rock Lake. Emelia and Joseph's Lake Mills wedding felt lived-in and unhurried, like they'd simply brought their actual life outdoors. Golden hour in the wildflower fields gave us some of the most vibrant sunset portraits we've shot all season.
Under the Trees with a New Baby | Sunset Wildflower Newborn Session
This sunset session near Garver Feed Mill brought together two newborns in wicker baskets, golden wildflowers, and the most tender moment: a big sister's first kiss with her new sibling. The light was perfect, the babies slept through almost every frame, and that final symmetry with both baskets surrounded by purple and gold felt like a photographer's dream.
Real Life, Beautiful Light | Family Sunset Portrait Session
Golden hour, wildflowers, and a black Lab puppy who refused to cooperate, somehow it all came together perfectly at Korth Park. Watch what happens when you let families just be themselves and stay ready for those unscripted moments of pure connection.
Fresh Air and First Photos | June Outdoor Newborn Session
This June, we brought a newborn and wildflowers together at Token Creek Park near DeForest, and the results were pure magic. Late golden hour light transformed the purple clover fields into something we couldn't have planned, while this peaceful baby slept through nearly every frame. See how the natural world became our best creative partner.
Perfectly Imperfect | Bay View Family Session
This Bay View family showed up ready to play, and Philippe Park's sprawling oaks and waterfront became the perfect stage for their story. We caught the in-between moments where real life happens, mid-giggle, genuine glances, the stuff that actually makes you smile when you see the photos years later.
A Misty Bridle Barn and Gardens Wedding | Mount Horeb, WI
Fog rolled across the Mount Horeb hills all evening, turning Melissa and Jonathan's day into something like a painting. Instead of chasing golden hour, we watched the mist soften every edge of the gardens and fields, creating some of the most striking portrait light we've ever worked in. Click through to see how the weather became the star of this Bridle Barn wedding.
