Adventures Together: A Mom and Me Session at St. Andrews
Four sisters in white dresses, one baby in a bear onesie, and golden afternoon light filtering through the palms. That’s how this mom and me session started, and it only got better from there. We met this family at St. Andrews State Park in Panama City Beach, and the energy between them was the kind you can’t fake.
Sandy Trails, Palm Trees, and a Baby Who Stole the Show
The thing about photographing families with a baby is that the baby runs the schedule. And honestly, that’s when we do our best work. No rushing, no rigid shot list. Just people being together while we stay ready.
St. Andrews gave us these incredible sandy trails lined with palms, and the late-day light was soft enough to shoot almost anywhere without fighting harsh shadows. We pulled in tight for the quieter moments and let the wider compositions breathe when the landscape earned it. If you’re considering family photography in Panama City Beach, this park deserves a spot on your list.
One of our favorite frames from the day was the baby looking straight up at us while being held between two of the sisters. That little bear onesie against the white dresses and all that green behind them? A photographer’s dream. We love when a family’s wardrobe choices feel intentional without being overthought, and this crew nailed it.
The closing images of mom lifting her baby on that sandy path are the ones that stop us every time we revisit this gallery. Pure joy, zero posing. That’s the whole point. Check out more of our work on the family photography portfolio to see what a session with us looks like.
Is St. Andrews State Park a good location for family photos in Panama City Beach?
It’s one of our favorites in the area. The park offers sandy trails, natural palm canopy, and beautiful late-afternoon light that works especially well for families with young children. There’s enough variety in the scenery to keep every frame feeling fresh.
How do I book a family session with Twig & Olive outside of Wisconsin?
We travel for sessions regularly. Just reach out through our contact page with your location, the number of people in your group, and a rough timeframe. We’ll handle the rest from there.
