This April wedding at Fête started with an unexpected gift: snow. We arrived to falling flakes and floor-to-ceiling windows framing the ceremony, and Kat and Mike didn't hesitate to lean into it. Their dog stole the getting-ready moment in a tiny tuxedo, but it was one quiet hug between Mike and his mom that gave us the frames we still pull up months later.

Their dog jumped into frame before the ink was dry on the marriage license, and honestly, that told us everything we needed to know about the rest of the evening. Golden hour found them in an open Wisconsin field, wrapped up in each other as dried cattails glowed amber around them. Sometimes the smallest celebrations create the most cinematic frames.
