We shot wide to take in the full scope of those woods, because a setting like that deserves to breathe in the final images.

Their daughter rode down the aisle in a white wagon decorated with flowers. The dog walked alongside a groomsman and bridesmaid, and the crowd ate it up. From there, the ceremony was intimate and emotional. It ended with a kiss under the arch while their closest people cheered from the shade of the trees. Near the entrance, a vintage window pane displayed family photos under a sign reading “Our Journey,” and an outdoor seating chart added a personal touch that felt totally them.

Stockholm Pie handled desserts, and Juke Box Bandstand kept the dance floor packed from the first song. For the first dance, we climbed up to the loft and shot straight down. The couple stood in a spotlight on the barn’s inlaid swan medallion floor, and that overhead angle turned a beautiful moment into something cinematic. It’s one of our favorite frames from the entire day.
