Cathy & Zach’s Glamorous Tinsmith Wedding in Downtown Madison

Cathy walked into the getting-ready space grinning, surrounded by her girls in matching robes. The energy never let up from there. One of our favorite things about The Tinsmith is that you can get ready right inside the venue. The industrial windows, the plants, the mix of raw concrete and warm wood. It all photographs beautifully without extra styling. Cathy’s bridesmaids gathered around her while she put on earrings and stepped into her heels. Those candid, laughing moments gave us some of the best frames of the morning.

Meanwhile, Zach was lacing up brown leather shoes over dog-patterned socks. That told us everything about his personality before we even spoke. The details were dialed in, too. A black-and-gold invitation suite, a sage welcome sign with calligraphy, tall taper candles on the ceremony table. That bold Tinsmith logo on the exterior framed the whole scene. Richards catered the dinner, and El Alegre brought late-night Mexican food that kept the energy going well past dark.

Their first dance was pure joy. No choreography. No stiffness. Just two people holding each other and laughing.
