Together Is Our Favorite Place: Family Winter Snow Mini

Two kids, a plaid blanket, a rustic teepee, and snow falling right on cue. This family winter snow mini session gave us the kind of energy that makes every frame feel alive. From the first toss of snow to the last round of giggles, these four were completely in their element.

Snow, Leaves, and Rusty Cars

We love a session that covers ground. This one started with snow, shifted into fall leaves, and ended up near a row of rusty vintage cars in an open field. Each setting brought out something different in this family. The snow brought pure chaos (the best kind). The leaves let the kids run wild. And those old cars? They gave us this gorgeous, textured backdrop that made every portrait feel like its own little story.

The light was soft and even the whole time, which is honestly a gift. No harsh shadows, no squinting. Just clean, natural light wrapping around everything. It let us shoot fast and loose, following the family instead of directing them. That’s when the real moments show up.
