Sweet Dreams at the Garver: Newborn Boy Session
Two images. That’s all we’re sharing from this newborn boy session, and honestly, they’re all you need to see. This little guy came into our Garver Feed Mill studio on a cold February morning, and the whole room went quiet the second he settled in.
Calm, Clean, and All About Him
We kept everything simple for this one. Soft wraps, warm tones, and light we could shape exactly how we wanted it. That’s the beauty of shooting newborns in our studio. Nothing is left to chance. The temperature stays perfect, the light stays consistent, and we get to focus entirely on the baby.
The first frame is pure newborn magic. Tiny hands, closed eyes, that deep sleep only a brand new baby can pull off. We love working with simple props like woven baskets and natural textures because they let the baby be the whole story. No distractions.
And then there’s the sibling shot. Big brother stretched out beside his brand new little brother on a cream knit blanket, completely at ease. We didn’t pose this one hard. We set the scene and let the moment happen. That’s where the real stuff lives.
If you’re thinking about newborn photography in Madison, our studio inside Garver Feed Mill was built for exactly this. Controlled light, a calm space, and a team that knows how to work with the tiniest clients. These first few weeks disappear fast. We’re here to make sure you remember them.
What makes Garver Feed Mill a great space for newborn photography?
Our studio inside Garver Feed Mill gives us full control over lighting and temperature, which is essential for keeping newborns comfortable and safe. The space is warm, quiet, and designed specifically for portrait sessions.
When should I book a newborn session with Twig & Olive?
We recommend booking during your third trimester so we can hold a window in the first two weeks after your baby arrives. That early window is when newborns sleep deepest and curl into those classic poses naturally. Reach out anytime and we’ll get you on the calendar.
