That’s what we walked into for this magnolia blooms engagement session at the UW Arboretum, and honestly, we never wanted it to end. The magnolia window in Madison is impossibly short. Maybe a week if you’re lucky. We hit it at the exact right moment, and this couple brought the kind of easy, playful energy that made every single frame feel effortless.
Catching the Magnolias at Their Peak
We always tell couples that spring Arboretum sessions are a gamble on timing. You can’t schedule peak bloom months in advance. You watch the trees, you watch the weather, and then you go.
