December light has a softness to it that we can’t get any other time of year. This snow mini newborn session brought a calm, sweet family into our Garver Feed Mill studio, and from the first frame, we knew the gallery was going to be something special.
Quiet Details, Big Feelings
This little girl barely stirred the entire session. We kept the setup simple: soft wraps, dried wildflowers, warm tones that felt right for the season. Her big brother, on the other hand, had energy to spare. Curly hair, huge grin, absolutely thrilled to hold his baby sister. That contrast is one of our favorite things to photograph.
We build every setup from scratch for each family. Colors, textures, props. All of it is chosen based on your baby and your style. For this session, the floral accents and natural wood tones gave us a gallery that felt organic and warm without trying too hard. That’s always the goal.
Honestly, newborn photography is one of those things families don’t realize they need until the images come back. These first few weeks vanish. The tiny fingers, the way they curl up, the weight of a sleeping baby in your arms. We get to freeze all of that, and it only becomes more meaningful with time.
