Love in Every Detail: Wildflower Sibling Session
Sunflowers taller than the kids, golden hour light pouring through the rows, and two siblings who could not stop laughing. This wildflower sibling session at Eugster’s Farm Market in Stoughton was one of those evenings where everything just clicked.
Sunflower Rows and Sibling Energy
Eugster’s has these incredible sunflower rows that create natural leading lines in every direction. We barely had to direct anything. The kids took off running, chasing each other between the stalks, and we just followed. That kind of unscripted energy is what makes family photography worth it for us.
We shot wide through the sunflowers to capture the scale of the field. Then we pulled in tight for the hugs and the giggles. The light was warm and low, wrapping everything in that soft amber tone you only get right before sunset. These two were so relaxed we could have kept shooting for another hour.
There’s a moment in every family session where the kids forget the camera exists. That’s when the real stuff happens. The little one in the polka dot dress took off on her own through the sunflowers. Grinning the whole way. We got it all.
Then mom stepped in, and the whole mood shifted to something quieter. The three of them on that tree stump, field stretching out behind them, gave us one of our favorite frames from the evening. If you’re looking for a spot near Madison that feels like a little adventure, Eugster’s is worth the short drive to Stoughton.
When is the best time of year for family photos at Eugster’s Farm Market?
Late summer is ideal. The sunflower fields are at their peak, and golden hour light pairs perfectly with all that color. We recommend booking in July or August to catch the blooms.
