Sandy Trails and Real Laughs
Fort Lauderdale in January gives you something the Midwest can’t: warm golden light without the wind chill. We planned this session around that late afternoon glow, and the light wrapped around this family in a way that made every frame feel effortless. The sandy paths, the palm trees, the waterfront, it all worked together as a backdrop that let the four of them just be themselves.
The older boy had this infectious grin. Put him on a crochet blanket with his little brother and he turned into a comedian. Dad jumped in and bear-hugged them both, and we pulled in close because those messy, unscripted moments are the ones families come back to years later. We never force the pose. We follow the energy.
