Full disclosure: our studio is inside the Garver Feed Mill building, so we know this space well. That said, it earns its spot on this list on its own merit. The Garver Feed Mill is a 100-year-old landmark and one of the few remaining examples of Madison’s industrial and agricultural heritage. Towering historic windows, original brick, and the scale of the mill’s atrium create a backdrop that needs almost no decoration. The main atrium seats up to 300 for a dinner, and smaller spaces like the Canvas gallery and Private Lounge allow for more intimate gatherings.

In-house catering focuses on locally sourced, seasonal menus, and the bar team is excellent. Ian’s Pizza is also in the building for late-night snacks, which is always a crowd favorite.
